Research interests

My main research focus is to understand the importance of the plasticity of the human brain in different psychiatric disorders. The research is designed to elucidate peripheral physiological and cortical characteristics underlying the different psychological conditions and investigate possible therapeutical changes using neuroscientific tools.

Techniques, methods & infrastructure

EEG recordings enable the analysis of different event related potentials in experimental settings. Slow Cortical Potential neurofeedback is used for self-induced therapeutical modifications of abberrant brain activations.
